What should I do before my treatment?
It's best to arrive in a calm state. Avoid having a large meal, an intense workout, or sex for at least two hours before, It's ideal to not arrive excessively hurried or burned out. If coming in the morning or early afternoon, make sure you have eaten.
What should I wear?
Loose fitting clothing provides optimal coverage to provides access to most the body. Tank fops and shorts are ideal.
What will I do during my treatment?
RELAX. Breathe. Rest. Relax your body and mind and let the needles/energy work/bodywork do their work. Do not move suddenly or change your position. Call for your practitioner if you feel at all uncomfortable during your treatment.
What should I do after my treatment?
Be good to yourself. Relax and allow the treatment to settle into your system. Try to schedule your appointment so you do not have to rush around or go back to work right away. Wait at least one hour before eating, and avoid it being a heavy meal. Wait at least two hours before exercising vigorously. A casual walk is fine, as long as it is relaxing.
