About Me
My passion is for healing the body, mind and spirit.
I've practiced acupuncture, Chinese medicine, and Qigong for over 20 years in Southwest Colorado. Before finding my Life in Flow in the healing arts, I was an Ecologist. I love the correlation between Ecology and Asian Medicine - seeing the human body similar to an ecosystem - with the energy channels and organs as micro-systems. Just as everything in each ecosystem is interdependent on each-other, so are the various aspects of the human being - the body, mind and spirit.
After damaging the ligaments in my wrist and being unable to use my left hand, I first sought out western medicine. The medication made me sick and the orthopedists suggested learning to live with the pain. Two years later I tried out acupuncture. Within eight treatments the pain had subsided, and after months of treatment, the ligament was healed. Through the treatments I fell in love with the medicine and realized how it was an important aspect in many areas of health and well-being.

My approach to working with patients incorporates all aspects of Chinese medicine to create effective and appropriately individualized treatment methods as well as patient education for lifestyles that support each individual's vibrant health
I’m enthusiastic to use my knowledge and wisdom to educate people on the core principles of vibrant health and be a partner in healing.

My Philosophy
I am passionate about being a part of a holistic healing team. While Chinese medicine is Powerful, - each person also needs to be willing to take responsibility for their part in their health, as well.

Holistic health comes from treating the whole being - the body, mind and spirit. In Chinese medicine we look at health and wellness as the body being in balance: balance of organ health, body-fluid health, Yin, Yang, Qi, emotions and the spirit. When one part gets out of balance, it affects the whole being.

Balance looks different for everybody. Like balancing on a teeter-totter or a balance beam, one is constantly readjusting depending on the factors of the moment. I love to work with people who are open to the needed adjustments so they can create Vibrant Health and Wellness.
